Ever wonder what actually happens when you trust us with your child’s car seat? Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look:
- First, we start by looking up the exact owner’s manual for your specific car seat. Every brand has different cleaning guidelines, and we follow the manufacturer instructions carefully so nothing is damaged or compromised.
-If the manufacturer allows the fabric pieces to be machine washed, they go in on a delicate cycle with cold water using Molly’s Suds for a gentle but effective clean.
-When drying is permitted, they are placed on delicate for a short, safe cycle.
-While the fabric is washing, the real detail work begins. The frame gets a deep scrub and wipe down using Dawn dish soap and a full set of specialty tools to reach every tiny space, seam, buckle, and crevice. Those hidden crumbs and spills don’t stand a chance.
-Once everything is clean, the seat is carefully reassembled and finished drying with a fan to make sure every part is completely ready for use.
-To keep it spotless until pickup, your car seat is wrapped and protected so it stays fresh and clean on the way home.

** If your item has experienced a bigger mess (vomit, pee, or poop), please remove any solids, give it a quick wipe-down, and place it in a sealed garbage bag before drop-off. A $75 biohazard cleaning fee will be applied.

Are the cleaning products safe for my baby?
Yes. We only use gentle, baby-safe products that are free from harsh chemicals. Your child’s safety is always the top priority, and every product is chosen with sensitive skin and daily use in mind.
Do I need to do anything before dropping off my item?
We ask that you remove any personal items and do a quick check for trash or loose debris, but no pre-cleaning is necessary - we’ve got the rest covered! If there are specific stains or concerns you’d like us to focus on, feel free to point them out at drop-off so we can give them extra attention.
Can you remove stains, odors, or mold?
We do our absolute best to remove stains and eliminate odors, including milk, food, and everyday messes. While most items come out looking and smelling significantly refreshed, some older or set-in stains may not fully lift- but they will always be improved.
How long does the cleaning process take?
Turnaround time can vary depending on the condition of the item, but most cleanings are completed within 24 - 48 hours. We’ll always communicate timing upfront so you know exactly when to expect your items back.
